Reasons for joining the Charity Classic Vehicle Club

The main objectives of the club include:-

To promote events for the use and display of classic cars for the pleasure of the owners and the public to raise funds for charities with the emphasis on Essex based organisations.

Why Join the CCVC ?

Since its foundation in 2001, The Charity Classic Vehicle Club has raised and distributed over £185,000 to many local and some national charities. Despite the affluence of todays society, there is an increasing need for voluntary financial support for many charities, and to continue successfully, new members are always welcome to assist in our endeavours.

Classic car ownership and classic car club membership has been in decline for the past few years. With fewer clubs now arranging fewer events, the CCVC aims to continue to provide both owners and enthusiasts with the opportunity to enjoy the use of their vehicles and, at the same time, raise some funds for the less fortunate members of the community.

Our success in fund raising has been due in no small part to the support we receive from the many classic vehicle owners in the area who are not members of the CCVC as well as those who are and put so much time and energy in organising the events.

We are proud to say that over the past fourteen years, the CCVC has made donations to over 80 charitable organisations within the community, many Essex based. We have been able to help organisations covering all age groups, many with a focus on sick and needy children. Further details can be found on our gallery page.

We are committed to continuing our efforts. Details of forthcoming events can be found on our Events page.
